Junior Systems Designer (Audio-Visual)
What You’ll Do
This is an in-office role where you’ll be learning by doing and contributing right away. You won’t walk in knowing everything (nobody does), but the right person will be curious, proactive, and willing to dig in without waiting to be told every step. We’ll provide training and mentorship — what we need from you is the drive to put it into action.
• Help turn ideas into drawings and wiring diagrams (we’ll show you the software).
• Research equipment and figure out what belongs where.
• Assist with project layouts and documentation.
• Collaborate with senior designers to brainstorm and solve problems.
• Visit job sites to see systems being built and tested.
Who You Are
• A recent grad (engineering, construction, IT, architecture, or similar) — or just someone eager to learn.
• Self-motivated and proactive about learning new skills.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable with technology (bonus if you’ve dabbled in CAD, sound, or networking).
• Positive, hardworking, and ready to be in the office full-time.
• Already in, or willing to move to, Birmingham, AL.
